Europe and Great Britian.

Distribution and description:
From Colchis the region in what is now Georgia from which the plant was believed to originate. Pertaining to autumn, from its habit of producing leaves only in the spring which die back in the summer followed by the flower appearing on its own in the autumn. Its common name ‘naked ladies’ is based on this appearance of the flower with no surrounding leaves. Pale pink flowers.
