Iris magnifica ‘agalik’

Habitat:
Rocky soils in full sun.

Description and Distribution:
Is a hardy cultivar that grows 40-60 cm collected by Jánis Rukšáns in the Serawschan Range of Uzbekistan in 1977. Leaves 3-5cm wide, lustrous, well spaced out on the stem. Flowers to 7.5cm in diameter, up to seven or more on robust specimens, pale lilac, the falls bearing a white crest surrounded by a yellow zone, late spring. Central Asia, especially in the Samarkand area.
