Habitat:
Moist well drained soils in full sun

Description and Distribution:
A dwarf species found in the south west China provinces of Gansu, Hubei, Shaanxi, Sichuan and Yunnan. Flower is yellow with brown veining over darker yellow spot on falls.

Background:
Mr. E. H. Wilson first discovered this plant in Western China on behalf of Messrs. J. Veitch & Sons in 1907.
