Habitat:

Elder is sometimes a scruffy-looking shrub which can be found growing in woodlands, hedgerows and scrub.

Description:

‘Aurea’ is a large, bushy deciduous shrub with pinnate, deep golden-yellow leaves and flattish heads of small, scented creamy-white flowers followed by purple-black berries. Hardy to around -15 Deg C. Height and Spread – 4.5m.
